S.S. Jolley Bridge
Gateway to Paradise Marco Island
Welcome to our gallery of the S.S. Jolley Bridge (also known as the Judge S.S. Jolley Bridge). This iconic high-rise span carries Collier Boulevard
(SR 951) across the Big Marco River, connecting the mainland near Naples to beautiful Marco Island in Collier County, Florida.Opened in 1969 as the Marco River Bridge and later renamed in honor of former Collier County Judge Seward Stokley Jolley, the bridge offers sweeping views of the surrounding waterways, mangrove islands, and Gulf coast scenery. A second parallel span was added in 2011, making it the primary gateway for most visitors arriving on the island. These photographs capture the bridge in different lights and seasons—sunrise and sunset glows, calm blue waters, dramatic skies, and the everyday beauty of this Southwest Florida landmark. Scroll through and enjoy the views that locals and visitors experience every day while crossing (or looking up at) the Jolley Bridge.
